The Notions of Emotions

Emotions,

like a dark hole that shows you your soul 

it tends to get old.

I’m blue 

sometimes red 

and even black 

but no matter what my color is- 

i must never react

In a negative fashion 

because once i’m done and my feelings burn to ashes 

and the days pass I’m going to regret my actions

and wish myself back to the good old days 

when we were chilling and relaxing 

But you see, 

these feels have masks 

you can pick through them in fashion 

or just keep on asking 

but you’ll never find it in this confinement 

of my brain where those little thoughts are tamed 

and ready to sing 

but only for 

    the 

         right 

                person.
