Mental Health

Nyla Morquecho

Mental health is one of the hardest things to understand for me. My friends who always smile when we go outside, make videos, and laugh, they all go home to look into the mirror and hate what is staring back at them. Waking up in the morning can be a huge obstacle or just eating can seem in the way. You can’t see what people are really thinking through their eyes.
Mental health is what state your mind is in. A messy room could be a huge outcome of a depressive episode. Not showering for days or using the bathroom. It's hard to keep up with everyday. Mental health is a big deal for me because I don't want to ever say the wrong thing in front of someone. Don't ever assume how someone's life is because you can never know what's hiding behind a smile.
